"A Dance Between Everything That Was, and Everything That Could Have Been"
GRIEF
Unfortunately, grief is an inevitable, inescapable part of life. We all lose someone we love at some point in our life, and the loss can often hit us harder than we expect. If we feel really knocked off our feet or are struggling at all, there is no reason to prolong those feelings. Maria partners with her clients to help them understand and cope with the overwhelming feelings that are triggered by grief and then work towards building a different path where the relationship with grief can be transformed.
Grief is personal and it comes in many ways. All of them are valid. People hide, laugh, cry, retract, avoid, scream… they can do it all. When grieving, everything is ok and everything is wrong. The constant internal battle between rational thought (what if, maybe I should have, but why, and if) and emotional rawness (numbness, being overwhelmed, nostalgic, sad, scared, lonely, empty) create a crushing sense of loss, feeling foreign to our own reality. Maria teams up with her clients to help them understand their own grieving process. She guides them through their emotional and rational state where they can transform grief and create a new path under circumstances that initially thought impossible to overcome. She empowers her clients to decide to: live with grief, transform grief, overcome grief and/or welcome grief.
